Scout Accounts

scoutpiggy

The Pack Committee would like to introduce Individual Scout Accounts for the Cubs this year.

10% of each Cub Scout’s total Popcorn sales will be credited to his account.  The amount will be determined at the end of our annual Popcorn Sale based on the Scout’s final total sales as verified by the Popcorn Kernel. This is the only way funds can be added to the account.

When individual Cub Scouts are credited for their efforts, they develop a sense of personal responsibility and participation.  Packs using this method have traditionally had stronger programs with lower turnover of youth (Cub Scouts are retained).

Scout Account can be used to pay for Scouting related activities and purchases only.  Approved purchases are uniforms or handbooks from the Scout Store, Pack 246 Spring Family Camp, Camporee for Webelos, Scout Summer Camp, or next year’s dues.

Please read the full terms and conditions & download the reimbursement form here.

POPCORN POPCORN POPCORN

Our Popcorn Fundraiser runs from September thru October 28th.  It’s our one opportunity to raise the funds to keep our pack running.  Our cub scouts sell flavored and microwave popcorn to friends, to family and to the community thru store front sales.
