The first rank that EVERY boy earns when entering the Cub Scouting Program is the Bobcat rank. These requirements are meant to demonstrate that the boy is making a commitment to participating in the scouting program. This rank is usually earned as a member of the Tiger Den, however it can be earned as the first achievment in a Wolf or Bear Den as well.
Scouting reinforces the skills and values we want our sons to learn while they're having fun.
Being involved in Cub Scouting is fun, challenging, and rewarding. Leaders find that their experiences help them to become better parents.
