About us

Cubmaster's Message

I am delighted to have the opportunity to be the Cubmaster for Pack 246.   Two decades of leadership have made pack 246 an outstanding Cub Scout Pack. I proudly take on the responsibility to live up to all expectations and make it even better.

A great nation is built by great leaders, and great leaders come from educated, inspired and confident boys who have learned to apply themselves while respecting the world around them.

Cub Scouting is a program that draws content from the best of all worlds, science, art, health, and creates a space within which the boys can grow and thrive under the caring and watchful eyes of the adult Pack leaders.

Each year we participate in a range of activities that contribute to the physical, moral, and intellectual development of our scouts.  We are a family oriented Pack and encourage participation by all members of our families.  We camp, we hike, we cook out, we have fun, we work on projects, and we learn new things. And through all the things we do, we strive to develop our scouts into responsible citizens that will serve our communities and our nation.

I believe that Pack 246 is an excellent place in which to introduce your son to scouting or to continue his scouting trail in pursuit of the Arrow of Light. If you are considering joining a Cub Scout pack in the area or would like to know more about the Cub Scouting Program, please contact me. I look forward to answering your questions, and sharing with you the activities and successes of our scouts.

Yours in Scouting,

Jamshid R. Lal "J.R"
